With our Total Control
approach to home remodeling, planning your project is done in
several phases:

Telephone Call
When you call Remodeling Consultants, one of our Design Consultants will arrange to
meet with you at your home to discuss your future remodeling
plans and ideas.
Home
Visit
Our Design Consultant will arrive at the appointed time to
determine your specific remodeling needs and desires. Based on
this conversation, a floor plan and concept sketches will be
prepared, incorporating the ideas and needs you discussed.
Estimate,
Specifications & Plans
Once a design concept has been fine-tuned to your complete
satisfaction, an appointment will be made to discuss the
particular specifications and cost of your project. Based on the
design concept drawings and specifications you have discussed
and reviewed with your Design Consultant, material quantities
and labor costs can now be determined and a general estimate
will be prepared for you by your Consultant.
Office Visit
Your Design Consultant will sit down with you to review your
plan and contract specifications and select the various other
building components needed to generate a final and firm price.
If that price is agreeable, then the contract is signed and a
deposit accepted. The next stages of work on your project can
begin.
Complete
Working Drawings
Your Design Consultant and Field
Superintendent, will visit your home, re-measure your project
and fully note existing conditions. A full set of
working drawings based on the design will be prepared. Along
with the design and specifications you have worked out with your
Design Consultant, all technical aspects of building your
project are determined, fine-tuned and incorporated into these
documents.
Preliminary
Plan Review
When the working drawings are ready, your Design Consultant will
carefully review the entire project, double and triple-checking
details. You will then be invited to carefully review this set
of construction plans, as well. Final materials and finish
selections are made at this time.
Final
Plan Review
The responsibility for your project is transferred from the
Design Consultant to the Field Superintendent. At a meeting in
our office, the working drawings are finalized with all parties
signing the plans attesting to their accuracy in accordance with
the specifications. The project is ready to be scheduled for
production.
Production
The Production Department assumes control: all materials are
delivered to the site. A crew and foreman are assigned
specifically to your project by your Superintendent. All trades
are coordinated with the production team and construction is
ready to start. “Ground breaking” day has finally arrived!
